GUYSON MODEL RXS900

RETURN TO BLAST CABINETS

OVERVIEW

The Guyson RXS900 6-Station Indexing Blast System consists of a blast cabinet/parts handling section, a blast media reclaim section, and a residual dust collector section.

This RXS900 indexing blast cabinet has been custom engineered to handle the blast finishing of specific work pieces. The work pieces are introduced onto the fixtures at the front operator station, and then carried through the controlled blast process in a series of indexed steps. An air wash blow-off removes any remaining particles from the piece before it is indexed back to the operator's position for unloading. The mixed blast media and residual waste are removed from the bottom catch hopper and transported to the cyclone reclaim section by a two-stage vacuum system.

The cyclone reclaim section consists of a calibrated cyclone, with an attached vacuum boosting fan. The cyclonic action is controlled by calibrated air vents, and is designed to separate reusable media and similar weight waste particles from the air stream. A vibrating sieve classifier is used to further separate undersized and oversized media and waste from the reusable media. Any residual dust and fine particles are removed to the dust collector by the second stage of the vacuum system.

The C1601W Dust Collector is a cartridge filtered system unlike older cloth bag collectors. It is designed to provide non-stop continuous monitoring and cleaning of the replaceable filter cartridges. A large motor driven fan generates the primary vacuum used throughout the blast system. The collected dust and fine particles are trapped in the dust collector waste drum for eventual disposal.
